Let us introduce and welcome our two new SMA/Anthropology News Co-Liaisons:
Melissa Salm is a PhD candidate at the University of California, Davis. Melissa’s dissertation is entitled, “Contemporary Epidemiology: Reconfiguring Global Health Research around the Human-Animal-Environment Interface in Peru.”
Victoria Sheldon is a PhD candidate in medical anthropology and at the Centre for South Asian Studies at the University of Toronto. Her dissertation “examines the ethicized caregiving practices of non-professionalized nature cure and herbal healers in Kerala, south India.”
And a huge thanks to Dori Beeler and Laura Meek, who have done such an outstanding job with the SMA AN column over the past few years!
