Description

Applications are invited for a non-tenure track, full-time lecturer position in the
Anthropology of Global Health and the Environment in the Department of Anthropology,
Washington University in St. Louis. This position may be renewable. We are seeking a
sociocultural anthropologist with excellent teaching credentials and a strong record of
ethnographic experience (research, community engagement, etc.), who can teach courses
that cross the boundaries of health and the environment including Introduction to Global
Health. The geographic area of interest is open. The successful applicant will teach three
courses per semester plus duties as assigned by the chair of the department. Candidates
must have a PhD in-hand when the appointment begins in August 2020.
